Athlete- Wild Wolves
I’ve just heard this bonus track from Athlete, from their 2009 ‘Black Swan’ album. I can’t find it anywhere which is so annoying, but thought it was that good I’d share the video with y’all here. So where did I hear it? I’m not afraid to say that I’m an avid ‘Gossip Girl’ fan, and it features towards the end of episode 13 so when I heard it I immediately tried to find out who sang it. Athlete are a brilliant band in my eyes, with ‘Tourist’ being my favourite song, and I think that they are supremely under-rated. Vocalist Careys’ voice is beautiful, husky and haunting, and it shows here on ‘Wild Wolves’. Watch the video for yourself and I promise that you will immediately want to listen again. And again.
