Miles Kane- ‘Come Closer’
Boy have I missed music like this. Miles Kane has shown that he’s not going to be a one trick pony with his solo efforts with this beauty of a second single, ‘Come Closer’. Not being released until February 21st, this song is similar to debut single ‘Inhaler’ and shows how Miles has an ear for a good riff. This song has confidence oozing out of it; a bolshy, sexy, 60’s inspired piece of guitar music which you know will sound even better live. The official video for ‘Come Closer’ is on NME.com now, featuring Daisy Lowe as a sultry dancer. (I prefer this studio version, is definitely edgier and more raw.) To say I’m excited for Miles’ album release would be an understatement, and I hope that his UK tour sells out. I know that I’ll be buying a ticket!
