Warpaint- Undertow
So, this may be my favourite song of the minute. Well, it’s either this or Miles Kane’s brand spanking new one (see below), but this song is just so magical it has put me into a trance. Warpaint have managed to make me subliminally fall in love with both them and this song, with the Los Angeles four-piece making music to close your eyes and sway to. The vocals are just beautiful and soothing, and the intensity of the build up towards the end brings you crashing down to earth, wanting you to press play and put it on again and again, just like a lullaby.
Favourite line: ‘Nobody ever has to find out what’s in my mind tonight’
